In film there can be situations where you will need to hold interviews prior to production so there is enough time to gather the resources necessary. For example as part of research or to gather testimony, this will also give them time to find the right teams for the producing. For example they will need a graphic team for posters and CGI. They will need a sound and audio team for sound and music. For documentary production it is necessary to hold interviews before production as they will need to find out and justify a certain line or enquiry. This also means they need to make sure there isn't any risks and is a safe set for the actors. The concept of a project will deeply be dependent on the budget as you will need to make sure you have enough funds to complete what you have started for example you will need a graphics/ art team, sound and audio team. Film directors, actors, props and lots more. Normally film company will be given a large budget so they can complete the tasks they are handed with and will be expedited to pay it back after the production has gone out the the public. Making sure you stay well within your budget and keeping it as low as possible is a good skill that is needed to be a successful producer. This can determine the out come of the production and the profit that is made after it goes out to the public. An animatic is "a preliminary version of a film, produced by shooting successive  sections of a storyboard and adding a soundtrack".  For films and any other motion picture the filmmaker will sit down and watch an aninmatic for their project.  When a film is released no one ever really thinks about the animatic that is made during the film making.  If the animatic isn't how a client wants it then the whole film could be stopped and not made, this is because the animatic is an insight to the whole film.
